In this Upstate New York night scene painting, "October Moon," an original oil on panel, I am once again in pursuit of the mystery of night and the beauty of the rolling northeastern farmland with its endless corn rows and patchwork hills. In this work I have taken license to combine different locales that I am inspired by in order to create a composition that speaks to what I find beautiful about this area. The northeastern landscape at night is an ongoing theme for me.
