This Southwestern Landscape Painting, "Valley Of The Gods," an original oil on panel, was painted on site. They say this place only gets a few inches of rainfall a year. The three days that I was stuck in the mud at this location the valley got several years' worth. I painted this picture from inside of my camper shell viewing out for the most part. When the storm cleared I tried to capture what I thought to be a most lovely sky over the reddest dirt I have ever seen.
