| In this Northeastern Night Scene Painting, "Moonlight over Hay Bales" an original oil on panel, I was trying to make a play on what feels to me like the hay bales out in the fields want to get together, form a group, make their own Stonehenge out of themselves and talk about the cycles of moon and earth. There is a language out there between those hay bales and I for one want to know what it is about. When the moon sheds its light on the earthly subject of hay bales I feel a little closer to some thing mysterious and wonderful. I wish I was standing in a field at night with a group of hay bales right now. Where do you stand. | |
