In this Pennsylvania
            Night Scene Painting, "Moonlit Hay Bales, V," an original
            oil on panel, I wanted to continue exploring an ongoing arrangement
            of hay bales on the rolling Pennsylvania Landscape at night.
            I love making up these night worlds and for me, a westerner now
            transplanted to the Northeast I am captivated by the lack of
            level land and want to travel on theses tilted waves of mountains
            to a nocturnal infinity. On the way I'll have a little talk with
            the resident hay bales basking in the moon light and perhaps
            they can tell me where I am headed in this obsession with hay
            bales at night.
